Tools
estimate_perm_decision(filing_date (YYYY-MM-DD or YYYY-MM) or case_number)- Estimates when DOL will decide a PERM filed on that date (analyst review): how far it is behind the month DOL is reviewing, DOL's recent and one-year pace, a date window, how firm the window is, and how cases filed the same month were decided. A FLAG case number (G-100-25065-750723) works instead of the date: its middle block is the year and day DOL received the application.
prevailing_wage_processing_times(request_date (optional))- DOL's prevailing wage determination queue for PERM: the month being decided (OEWS and other wage sources), redeterminations, Center Director reviews, pending requests by month and the pace. With a request date, an estimated determination window and the requests pending ahead of it.
perm_processing_times(none)- DOL's current position from the FLAG page: analyst review, audit review and reconsideration months, average processing days, the PERM prevailing-wage queue, the pace of the analyst-review month, and its history over the last year.
perm_filing_month_stats(month (YYYY-MM))- How DOL decided the cases filed in one month: certified, denied and withdrawn counts, median days to certification, and when 10%, half and 90% of the decisions were issued.
perm_employer_stats(employer)- An employer's PERM record: cases decided, certified, denied and withdrawn, certified share, median days to certification, median offered wage, main occupations and worksite states, plus other close name matches.
Data
- DOL's FLAG processing-times page (flag.dol.gov/processingtimes), read once a month after DOL updates it; latest Oct 5, 2026. Updates before that come from the Internet Archive's copies.
- DOL's PERM disclosure data (OFLC performance data): 259,489 cases decided Oct 1, 2024 to Jun 30, 2026. DOL publishes it quarterly. We use case dates, outcomes, employer names, occupations, worksite states and offered wages only; names and contact details of people in the files are never read.
- Not covered: individual case status (use DOL's case status search on flag.dol.gov), USCIS forms such as I-140 and I-485, and the Visa Bulletin.
How firm the estimates are
Back-tested against every FLAG update since November 2023: one month past DOL's posted month, 17 of 19 windows held the actual median decision; three months, 12 of 18; four to six months, about half. Each answer states which band it is in. Method.
Privacy
The connector receives only the tool inputs your assistant sends (a date, a month or an employer name). It doesn't see your conversation, and nothing is stored beyond standard request logs. Privacy policy.
